St. George Launches 2026 Concert in the Park Series With Live Country Music

Even though spring hasn’t officially arrived yet, live outdoor music is returning to Southern Utah as the St. George Concert in the Park series begins its 2026 season.
The first performance is set for Monday, March 9, when the Marshall Star Band will headline the opening night at Vernon Worthen Park in St. George.
The free community concert starts at 7 p.m., launching a lineup of monthly performances that will continue through October.
Country Music Opens the 2026 Concert Series
The season will begin with the Marshall Star Band, a touring group known for energetic country performances and a mix of musical styles.
Concertgoers can expect a lively set featuring original songs, classic country favorites and modern country hits.
City officials say the group was an easy choice to open this year’s series.
“The Marshall Star Band is the ideal group to kick off our new season,” said Jeremy Poston in a city news release. “Whenever they perform, it’s a party. There will be plenty of room for two-stepping, so everyone is encouraged to come out, dance and enjoy what promises to be an outstanding show.”
A Touring Band With Decades of Experience
The Marshall Star Band has been performing across the region since 1992, appearing at nightclubs, fairs and festivals.
Over the years, the band’s music has been featured on radio stations and television appearances, helping build a strong following.
Despite their time in recording studios and on airwaves, the band says live shows remain their favorite way to connect with fans, often inviting audience members to request songs during performances.
