Family dinner is one of those everyday expenses that adds up quickly. Borens Smokehouse is trying to make the table a little easier to fill.
Through the St. George Direct app, guests who buy one qualifying combo can claim one free kids meal in the same order. Two combos qualify for two free kids meals.
For owner Dalton Boren, the offer reflects the same idea that helped shape the first Borens Smokehouse in Richfield: serve carefully prepared food, support the community, and make it possible for more families to enjoy a meal together.

A Smokehouse Built With Community in Mind
Borens Smokehouse first built its name in Richfield, where Boren set out to create something that could contribute to his hometown as well as serve it. A 2025 profile from Utah Beef Producers described the restaurant’s focus on locally sourced meat, local jobs, and food that families could enjoy at a fair price.
The larger goal, Boren explained, was to help Richfield flourish while providing quality food and supporting Utah producers. That community focus traveled south when Borens Smokehouse expanded to St. George in 2026.

From Richfield to St. George
The original Richfield restaurant established the menu and the approach. Brisket, pulled pork, sausage, ribs, burgers, kids meals, and familiar smokehouse sides all appear on the current menu. The St. George restaurant carried that style into a second community near The Shoppes at Zion.

St. George Direct visited the new restaurant shortly after it opened and sampled the brisket, ribs, sausage, macaroni and cheese, beans, and potato salad. Read our first visit to Borens Smokehouse for a closer look at the food.
This offer shifts the spotlight from a single plate to the family table. Boren chose a benefit that directly helps parents ordering for their children, while giving local diners a simple reason to try the St. George location or return for another visit.
