Welcome to St. George Direct. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply when you access or use STGeorgeDirect.com, the St. George Direct mobile application, and related news, directory, deal, notification, and community features (collectively, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
2. Eligibility and Acceptable Use
Eligibility:
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to use the Services.
User conduct:
You agree to use the Services responsibly and only for lawful purposes.
You may not misuse the Services; interfere with their operation or security; attempt unauthorized access; submit false or misleading information; or post, upload, or share content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, abusive, offensive, or infringes another person’s rights.
3. Mobile App and Deal Access
The mobile app may let you read local stories, browse businesses, save items, receive optional notifications, and claim or redeem participating offers.
When you choose to claim an exclusive deal, we may ask you to verify an email address with a one-time code. We use this verification to maintain deal access, apply an offer’s one-time, monthly, or unlimited-use rules, and display redemption history. Deal verification does not enroll you in marketing email.
You may delete verified deal access and its associated redemption history from the app’s Settings screen. Saved stories, deals, businesses, onboarding status, and most preferences are stored locally on your device and may be removed if you delete the app or clear its data.
Push notifications are optional. You can manage selected topics in the app and can revoke notification permission in your device settings.
4. Local Deals, Business Listings, and Advertising
Offers are provided by participating businesses and may include separate eligibility rules, limits, expiration dates, availability restrictions, or redemption instructions. You are responsible for reviewing and following the terms shown with each offer.
Participating businesses are responsible for their products, services, pricing, availability, customer service, and fulfillment. Unless an offer specifically says otherwise, St. George Direct is not the seller or service provider and is not a party to the transaction between you and the business.
A claimed deal, verification code, or redemption record does not guarantee that an item or appointment remains available. Contact the business when current pricing, availability, scheduling, or location-specific policies matter.
Directory information and advertising may be supplied by businesses or gathered from public sources. We work to keep listings useful and accurate, but details can change. Paid or sponsored placements may appear within the Services.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
Content provided through the Services, including text, images, graphics, logos, software, page design, and app design, is owned by St. George Direct or its content providers and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual-property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission, except as allowed by law or through sharing tools we provide.
6. User-Generated Content
When you submit content, including comments, reviews, photos, corrections, or listing information, you represent that you have the right to submit it. You grant St. George Direct a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, edit, publish, translate, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Services.
You remain responsible for content you submit and must ensure it does not violate any law or infringe the rights of others.
7. Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may link to business websites, Google Business Profiles, social platforms, app stores, and other third-party services. St. George Direct does not control and is not responsible for their content, products, availability, policies, or practices. Your use of a third-party destination is subject to that provider’s terms and privacy practices.
8. Privacy and App Data
Our Privacy Policy explains the information used by the website and mobile app, including deal verification, optional notifications, locally stored items, aggregate app activity, retention, and available privacy choices.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Accuracy:
We strive to keep information accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that every story, listing, offer, price, schedule, or business detail is complete or error-free.
No warranty:
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Limitation of liability:
To the fullest extent allowed by law, St. George Direct will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Services or from a transaction with a third-party business.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless St. George Direct, its owners, employees, and affiliates from claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Services, content you submit, or violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Washington County, Utah.
12. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or end access to all or part of the Services if you violate these Terms, misuse an offer, interfere with the platform, or engage in conduct that harms St. George Direct, participating businesses, or other users.
13. Changes to the Services
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, content, offers, or availability within the Services. We may also correct errors in listings or deal terms.
