Emergency Response to the Riverside Apartments Structure Fire
Crews arrived at the apartment complex last night to find an active fire inside the building. Because of the size and location of the blaze, local officials immediately shut down Riverside Drive in both directions to protect the public and clear the way for emergency vehicles.
During the incident, authorities strictly instructed residents and drivers to avoid the area entirely. This temporary closure allowed arriving emergency units to park safely and gave firefighters the necessary space to operate their equipment without traffic interference.

The roadway has since reopened now that crews have cleared the scene. Local officials expressed gratitude to the surrounding departments for their rapid assistance during the evening emergency.
