Fast-food fans in Southern Utah finally have official confirmation: Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is making its long-awaited debut in St. George. The Louisiana-based chain, famous for its focused menu of fresh chicken tenders and house-made dipping sauce, is moving into the former Golden Corral building located at 42 S. River Road.
Positioned just off I-15 near T.J. Maxx and the busy River Road commercial hub, the prominent site offers prime visibility and convenient access for both local residents and highway commuters. Renovation work on the existing building will adapt the space to accommodate the high-volume drive-thru lanes and indoor dining capacity typical of the franchise.
Founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Raising Cane’s has built a massive nationwide following by keeping its menu intentionally simple and focused on quality. The new St. George location will feature all the chain’s staples, including hand-battered chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, grilled Texas toast, coleslaw, freshly brewed iced tea, and its signature Cane’s Sauce.
While an exact opening date has not yet been set as initial site work gets underway, the arrival of Raising Cane’s in St. George marks another major addition to the city’s rapidly growing dining landscape. Local fans who previously had to travel to Northern Utah or Las Vegas for their chicken finger fix will soon have a drive-thru right in their own backyard.
